MAGA MEN, we have an answer
Top Story: MAGA Males, Meet Tim
MAGA men have a lot of thoughts…
They disdain all the single ladies. (Feeling seems mutual.) They don’t like cats. And they are — as a group — pretty much convinced no one does manly like a MAGA.
Then…in walked Tim Walz with his plucky Dad vibes, his folksy, good-guy quip that one person’s socialism is another’s neighborliness. And the now ubiquitous “they’re just weird” comment that just so happened to start a movement, questioning the MAGA-tude.
The VP pick for Kamala Harris seems to represent something new for the Dems — a manly man, hunter, rural guy, dog-lover. Yet, he's not a wimp. He's not a jerk. He’s not 80.
Is Tim Walz the Dem’s long-awaited answer to the MAGA man?
Have the Dems finally figured out a way to talk about masculinity, strength, and the power of being a good guy without sounding patronizing, insincere, or just too old?
Are we on the verge of seeing something new coming from the Dems? Maybe, an acknowledgment that someone needs to talk to those MAGA men (and their followers) in a language they get?
We at Reporting Right think so. And if you think so, too, write about it.
